Measure your favourite fit.
Choose a garment that fits you well, lay it flat, and compare its measurements with the item listing. Vintage pieces may fit differently from their tagged size.
Tops, jerseys and jackets
- Chest: measure straight across from armpit to armpit. Double this number only when comparing with a full chest circumference.
- Length: measure from the highest shoulder point to the hem.
- Sleeve: measure from the shoulder seam to the cuff; raglan sleeves may be measured from the neckline.
- Hem: measure across the bottom edge. Check whether the listing gives a flat width or circumference.
Bottoms
- Waist: measure across the waistband without stretching, then double for circumference.
- Inseam: measure from the crotch seam to the leg opening.
- Rise: measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband.
Use the units stated on each listing. 1 inch = 2.54 cm. If a measurement is missing or unclear, contact us before ordering.
For an oversized fit, compare against an oversized garment you already enjoy wearing.
